Toasted Sesame Asian Salad



1 head Napa Cabbage, shredded

2 carrots, shredded

½ cup slivered almonds

¼ cup sesame seeds

1 red pepper, sliced thinly

1 can mandarin oranges, drained and rinsed

Fresh Mint and Thai Basil Leaves


¼ cup raw apple cider vinegar

2 Tbs. toasted sesame oil

2 Tbs. raw honey

1/4 cup olive oil or other cold pressed oil

2 Tbs. tamari

½ tsp. black pepper

1 Tbs. tahini


Blend all salad dressing ingredients until smooth.  Toss salad ingredients together in a large bowl.  Top with dressing, and serve immediately.
