Raw Applesauce

8-10 apples

1 tsp. citric acid or 1 lemon juiced

2 Tbs. honey

Wash apples, cut in quarters and remove cores.  (Keep peel on.  This is where most of the nutrients are.) Put apples in Vita Mix and add optional ingredients if desired. The citric acid/lemon juice will keep the apples from oxidizing and turning brown.  The honey will add a little sweetness to the sauce.  Blend on high and use tamper to push apples into the blades.  Do this as quickly as possible, so the sauce does not get over blended.  Store in refrigerator.  Consume within 3 days.
